San Francisco's Cell-Phone Law Takes a Hit | News & Opinion | PCMag.com

Dumb liberals and their nanny laws. I recently shared an article with the results of a Swedish study in which they found using cell phones doesn't increase cancer risk.

$200,000 cell phone Bill

Do any of you remember the stories of multi thousand dollar cell phone bills when the iPhone first came out? Well WILX Channel 10 News out of Landing MI just had a story of a woman that spent two weeks in Canada and ended up with a $201,000 phone bill. The cellular company gave her six months to pay it off. I didn't hear what phone she was using or who the carrier was.

Painful Neck? Smartphone Owner? YOU May Be Suffering from Text Neck! [Smartphones]

Xlarge_text-neck-syndrome

When I first saw the beginning of the title bofore going into the article, I thought the article was about people always holding phones in the crook of their necks while talking.

Honestly, I sure would like to know what people have against using like wired or Bluetooth head sets. I use a Bluetooth head set all the time while driving. When I do receive or have to make a call, its a lot less distracting than holding a phone to your head. I see to many drivers with their phone pressed to their head and how distracted they are from their driving.

If you have to talk while driving, use a blasted head set. Online, rechargeable Bluetooth head sets start at $20 and wired at $10.

iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch - The blood pressure monitor (self measurement, hypertension, monitoring)

This morning I was listening to iPod Today show #52 in which the host Leo Laporte demonstrated this blood pressure monitor that connects to an iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch.  Readings from the cuff and software are uploaded to a website that one can share with their doctor/medical provider, if the provider has an account with Withings.

Being the iPad and iPhones are very popular, and use is increasing in the health system, I thought I would pass this on.
