Is there still a market for stand alone MP3 players when so many of us have smart phones and other devices with that capability already built in? I think so because I still use my iPod Classic because my iPhone can’t hold my entire music library. TheKube2 can hold way more tunes than my iPhone and it’s about the size of a small ice cube. TheKube2′s aluminum body measures in at just one cubed inch. Size isn’t the only thing that makes TheKube2 unique though. The other unique feature of this MP3 player is it’s touch surface for audio navigation and control. Swipe gestures can be used to raise and lower the volume and move forwards and backwards through music tracks. Music is stored on a microSD card and the player can also be customized with skins. TheKube2 MP3 Player has a battery life of six hours of continuous playback from a single hour USB charge. TheKube2 is available for $45 at Amazon.com.
