Stolen phone database has little impact on thefts

A stolen phone database established in the US to crack down on mobile phone thefts is having very little impact on crime, suggests reports today. According to the New York Times, the database is useless for a number of reasons. The U.S.'s four major carriers all contribute ID numbers of stolen phones to the database in the hope of tracking...
