The Billet Dock is another Kickstarter project. The Billet Dock, from Tracmac Engineering, is machined from a single piece of aerospace-grade aluminum, and it will be available in a glass bead-blasted finish (like Apple’s MacBook Pros) or anodized red, black, pink, or a limited-edition lime green. It will be available as an iPhone dock, an iPad dock, or a duplex dock (shown). The Billet is designed with a cam pad inside that adjusts to fit different cases or even different versions of the devices. There’s a 30-pin connector inside to charge the device while it’s being supported in the perfect angle for using your device or making Face Time calls. There’s even a machined interior chamber and vents that enhance sound. Pledge $58 to receive an iPhone Billet, $69 for an iPad Billet, or $115 for the duplex Billet. Higher pledges get you all three docks, and the highest level pledge gets you all three in the limited edition green. The funding period ends Apr 9, at 12:25am EDT.
