Wildcats win 2012 smallbore team title at NCAA Rifle Championships
The Kentucky Wildcats repeated a win of the team smallbore championship yesterday, shooting a 2328 and establishing a 3-point lead over 2nd place Army in the 2012 NCAA Rifle Championships.
Last year the Wildcats came into the second day's air rifle championship with a seven point lead and held on by three to claim the school's first national championship.
Today at the French Field House Kentucky looks to hold on to a tighter lead in the air gun championship and take home a national championship for the second consecutive year.
Air gun will wrap up a couple hours earlier today since relays can accommodate more shooters and will be followed by the NRA All American banquet this evening.
