Apple’s got a habit of announcing new lower-end hardware alongside its cutting-edge gear; back around when the iPhone 4S first came out, we learned of a new 8GB version of the iPhone 4. A new rumor suggests that history will repeat itself, and the announcement of the iPhone 5 will accompany a similar re-shuffling of older iPhone models.
