Google Maps Gets an Impressive Update & a Shiny New iPad Version [feedly]

The latests Google Maps update for both IOS (iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch) STINKS!!!! The mobile app no longer gives a list "My Places" locations that you starred either on your computer showing Google Maps or the Mobile your.  Also it no longer supports saved maps layers or allows you to load saved maps that you create on your computer.  These are two features I use regularly, especially when planing a trip.

When I'm planning a trip, I create a new map for the trip and do searches and save locations to the map that I'm interested in a my visit if my route and time allows.  I currently have a map I created for an Upper Peninsula trip I'm taking later this week, and I can't load it and all the places I marked on the map.
