Google Sponsors Free Public WiFi For Androids

WiFi connections are great when you can find them. After all, they often offer decent speed, and can present a more stable connection than you might get from your provider’s cellular network. Android users will now be able to take advantage of a whole lot of WiFi hotspots for free, thanks to a new promotional campaign announced today. The WiFi is served-up though Boingo Wireless, available at 4,000-some hotspots across the US. Those include major airports, malls, restaurants, hotels, and more.
