Late last week, we learned that Canadian carrier Telus was informing its users that, despite earlier reports that HTC’s Desire HD would be getting an update to bring the phone Ice Cream Sandwich, those plans were now scrapped. In its latest update schedule, Telus explains the canceled Desire HD update by saying that HTC itself was dissatisfied with the phone’s ICS performance.
