'Member Best' Trophy contest from American Hunter

Send NRA magazine photos from last year's favorite hunt

For a couple of months now, Shawn Skipper has been fueling the E-Media fire over in the NRA Publications Department. Deftly switching from mobile to desktop platforms, Shawn works his magic to spread the top notch reviews, tips and tales from our magazines to all corners of the internet. Now he's asking for something from you.

American Hunter is holding a "Members Best" trophy contest. So what exactly does that mean? Well, we'll have to leave the idea of "Members Best" up to the panel over at American Hunter. Here's a snippet on what you need to do to throw your trophy into the mix:

Send us the photo with a 50 to 100-word account of when, where and how the game was taken by March 30. Include your contact info. Remember: Quality photos make a difference.

Send entries to: American Hunter, Members’ Best, 11250 Waples Mill Road, Fairfax, VA 22030-9400, or email them to publications@nrahq.org.

Do you need a big bull moose like Tate's in the above picture? Not at all. It doesn't need to be the biggest, scariest, baddest beast on the block. In fact, it could be a shot of your little one with her first deer or duck. Criteria for being crowned as "Members Best" remains closely guarded by judges panel so there's no reason to think that you can't win.

What do you win? How about a spread in a 2012 issue of American Hunter magazine? That's right, winners (yes, there will be more than one winner) will be featured in an upcoming issue for all the world to see.

With any luck, that means Shawn will end up sending your best trophy shot to all corners of the internet too.
