Concealed Carry Fashion Report: Spring 2012

via Gun Nuts Media by Shelley Rae on 2/28/12

It’s that time again: I found the Spring 2012 GUESS Lookbook this weekend! Alright, so very few of you are excited about this, but it does mean it’s time to go over some more women concealed carry outfits for the upcoming months.

Girls, I have some good news: flowers & prints are in this season, and what better way to keep a gun from printing?

This Floral Chiffon Elastic Waist piece from Express would work well for carry because of the patterning and how the fabric falls.

Let’s start by talking dresses, because that is one of the best things about spring, isn’t it? A dark dress with a pattern on it paired either with compression shorts, or even the right cut dress with a pair of jean shorts and a regular holster like Packing Pretty demonstrates, is going to go a long way toward keep your gun hidden.

As far as tops go, there are a lot of dark, patterned and loose tops with a lot of flow to them floating around this season. The loose tops not only keep you cool and comfortable, but allow for easy concealment while the dark patterns keep printing to an absolute minimum.

However, as the weather gets warmer don’t be afraid to go for the tank top if you’re so inclined. The Flashbang Bra holster makes pretty much anything possible. As the winter layers come off carry options such as the Flashbang become more practical (I know all the boys are making “ease of access” and “quick draw” jokes right now).

Don’t be afraid to use the popularity of prints to your advantage. Don’t be afraid of color and don’t be afraid to mix and match. It’s spring, have some fun with color! It’ll help you hide your gun.
