Edgewood, New Mexico - On Wednesday afternoon in Edgewood, the NRA National Firearms Museum opened a new satellite museum at Founder's Ranch, the home of the Single Action Shooting Society's World Championship of Cowboy Action Shooting: End of Trail.

The museum, NRA Firearms Museum of the West, is in a permanent building on Main St at Founder's Ranch and is currently host to a display of Hollywood Guns that are from some of the best known and loved Westerns of all time.

The museum is free, open to the public and will remain open until the final shoot out at End of Trail this Saturday the 23rd. It is hoped that the museum will be open at Founder's Ranch during every annual End of the Trail as well as the two regional SASS events held in the spring and fall.

Common over pardner and drop in and say howdy. Tell 'em Punxsutawney Phil (SASS #5208) said to say hello.
