YouTube, Currents, and Drive all receive updates

via Android Phone Fans by Quentyn Kennemer on 6/28/12

In a strong second push of more updates to Google apps, YouTube, Currents, and Google Drive, all for Android, have been updated.

The former includes a very nice user interface refresh, the ability to pre-load videos while your device is on WiFi and charging, view your watch history across devices, and more.

Currents has gotten a bit of an upgrade in the UI department alongside a top-oriented navigation bar that can be hidden (and brought back into view with a tap), moved the Library/trending toggle to the navigation bar, and more.

Finally, Google Drive wasn’t going to be outshined. You can now upload and download ALL file types, an easier way to select contacts to share with, faster navigation of folders while a sync operation is taking place, and so much more.

If you want to see the full list of changes for each individual app, be sure to find their pages in the Google Play Store. YouTube is here, Currents is here, and Drive is here. Have fun!
