Should Police Officers be an Example of Safe Driving????

To answer my own question, as a former law-enforcement specialist (USAF), and corrections officer (MDOC) I say absolutely yes. Being Police Officers enforce the our laws, they should be setting the example to others by their conduct. If the Ann Arbor police officers "lead by example" I wouldn't be seeing patrol cars driving around at dawn and periods of low visibility caused by weather, driving around without their head lights on. Yet I see this repeatedly with the latest case this morning at 8:00 am when a patrol car entered I-94 East bound at Jackson Rd. Every car around the the patrol car had their lights on, but not the dark blue patrol car. I think the Ann Arbor need a remedial in service safe driving course. Dwight A. Hunt, Sr. A+, MCP
